In the next few weeks all new students are required to move into their new home for the academic term.  Please read carefully through the notes below as they provide some essential information to make your transition to living at La Trobe University Bendigo as smooth as possible: 
 

Move-in day

Saturday 9th February
 

Please use the link below to RSVP with the date you are moving into your accommodation so we know when to expect you!

Move in Times: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Please proceed to Sharon Street, Flora Hill (Bendigo Locality Map) and head up the hill to Gate 10 (Bendigo Inner Campus Map) where Accommodation Services staff will be able to direct you to your new home!

Under 18?

Students under the age of 18 on Move In Day will need to meet with Accommodation Services staff upon arrival. All Minors and their Guardians are required to sign a form agreeing to refrain from consuming alcohol until they turn 18. Please make yourself known to the staff when you arrive.

Centrelink?

Please make sure you have contacted Centrelink prior to your arrival to request your Living Away From Home Allowance and Relocation Scholarship – we have Youth Allowance Rent Statements available at our Accommodation Services Office.

We remind you that linen is NOT provided, and you will need to bring with you when you move in.  The bed sizes for each accommodation are as follows:

Hillside Apartments: King Single (106cm x 203cm)
Terraces: Singles (92cm x 187cm)
Units: Extra Long Single (92cm x 203cm)
Villas: King Single (106cm x 203cm)
Orde House: Extra Long Single (92cm x 203cm)
Bar Fridge (All Residences):  (900mm High x 600mm Wide x &00mm Deep)

Your Student Leaders for 2019

Your Student Leaders are here to assist you with your transition into University life! You will get to meet your Student Leaders on Move in Day.


ResFest is our orientation program for both new and returning residential students.  ResFest will run for over two weeks 9th February - 24th February 2019.  ResFest is designed to give you an exciting, welcoming and positive start to your year on Res. We have a variety of entertainment, social activities, information sessions and exciting experiences planned – get excited everyone!  We have Residential Education Coordinators (Lauren Proudfoot & Georgia Irvine) who are dedicated to giving you a positive experience while living at La Trobe.
