Uni-Safe and Glider Service Improvements
La Trobe University is committed to providing a safe environment for all students and staff and has a number of initiatives in place to help keep you safe, including after-dark transport options like Uni-Safe and Night Glider.
The Uni-Safe and Glider services have recently been reviewed and updated to be more flexible and to make sure you get where you need to be when it’s dark. Here’s what you need to know:
Uni-Safe Service (Melbourne, Bendigo and Albury-Wodonga campuses)
Through the Uni-Safe Service, Security officers are available to escort students and staff after dark between campus buildings and car parks, local transport points (Bundoora only) and on-campus student accommodation.
Request the Uni-Safe Service at Melbourne (Bundoora), Bendigo and Albury-Wodonga by calling (03) 9479 2222.
There is a new phone number for the Uni-Safe Service at the Bendigo Campus – staff and students can now call (03) 9479 2222 to request pick up.
Glider Bus (Melbourne Campus)

The Day Glider travels in a loop around the Melbourne campus every 20 minutes and is available Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 9:30pm. See the website for the route map.
